Job OverviewHere at Fairview, we are now seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our breast imaging team at our Riverside Women's Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. This is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8AM - 4:30PM.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Uses appropriate communicaiton skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs
- Communicates effectively with all members of the health care team
- Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures
- Adheres to radiologic diagnostic testing procedures
- Documents compliance with regulatory agency requirement
- Follows infection control guidelines
- Adheres to safety protocols
- Ensures imaging procedures meet all standards and protocols
- Serves as a resource for other healthcare team members
- Responds appropriately to emergent situations
- Evaluates imagine results fod diagnostic quality
- Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances
- Acts as a resource for problem-solving resolution
- Demonstrating ability to provide care of service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural difference of the population served
Required Qualifications
- Digital mammography experience
- ARRT (R) (M)
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in general diagnostic breast imaging
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with patients in a capacity including frequent interactions and understanding age-life cycle need
