Valley Medical Group is looking for a Mammography Technologist to join our team and work in our Greenfield Health Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!
Position: Mammography Technologist
Location: Greenfield, MA
Hours: 32 hours, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.
The Mammography Tech will operate mammography equipment to make images according to ACR/MQSA standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage Radiology orders, billing functions, EMR buckets, and PACS
- Manage mammography tracking, outreach to patients and other duties as needed.
- Perform quality control on mammography equipment.
Qualifications:
- Completion of accredited course in Radiologic Technology; approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography, and Mammography [R.T.(R)(M)]
- Current State of Massachusetts licenses in Radiography and Mammography
- Completion of all prerequisite and ongoing core MQSA requirements
- Initial certifications for 8 hours digital mammography training and 8 hours breast tomosynthesis training
- Proof of having completed all required CEUs
- Computer skills applicable to the healthcare setting
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures
- Minimum 3 years of experience with performing screening and diagnostic mammograms
- Must be able to work independently
- EMR experience, Athena experience a plus
