The WellSpan York Hospital is one of only two hospitals in the world with in‑lab 4D CT imaging, providing real‑time CT‑quality visualization during complex structural heart and EP procedures. Our hybrid lab supports coronary interventions, structural heart cases, EP studies, vascular procedures, and rapid escalation from diagnostic to interventional to surgical care — all in one space.

General Summary
Provides technical support and assistance to the physician during heart and vascular procedures. Performs scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties with cardiac catheterizations using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgment in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols. Provides care, assessment prior, during and post-procedural instruction to patients. Prepares and maintains all pertinent information related to procedures.
Minimum Education:
- Certificate Program Diploma from an accredited school of Cardiovascular/Radiology Technology. Required or
- Associates Degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular/Radiology Technology. Required
Licenses:
- Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required or
- Registered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required or
- Registered Technologist-Cardiac Interventional Radiology - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
- Registered Technologist-Vascular Interventional Radiology - ARRT Upon Hire Required and
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
