Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Full Time, Eves: 4pm-12am
Pay: $42-$56/hr depending on experience and shift plus 1199 union benefits
The
CT Technologist uses computed tomography equipment to take images of a patient’s body from different angles. Performs and obtains high quality Cat Scan images on all patients, recognize the need for additional acquisitions to demonstrate required anatomy and/or pathology, load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration and practice image wisely and gently to minimize radiation dose.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- NY state license as an Radiology Technologist and ARRT-Cat Scan registered
- NYS Dept of Health Certification to inject IV Contrast
- 2 years of experience as an Radiology Tech and minimum 1 year of experience in Cat Scan
